JEREMY HANEMAN is a conductor and musical director who specialises in choral and operatic repertoire. He is the Co-Director of Together Productions, a company that produces ground-breaking work using music and the arts to inspire social change. Jeremy was one of two British conductors invited to present their work at the World Symposium of Choral Music in 2020.
From 2011 - 2020 he was the inaugural Community Chorus Director for the Royal Opera House Covent Garden where his work included being Artistic Director and Conductor for the acclaimed 150 voice Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus. Jeremy has worked with members of the Royal Opera House Chorus, Orchestra and the Jette Parker Young Artists. Jeremy is a Council member of the Association of British Choral Directors and musical Director of the Mixed Up Chorus, and multi-award winning choirs for Linklaters and Taylor Wessing. Jeremy has also conducted choirs in London including Morley College Choir (five years) where his predecessors include Michael Tippett and Gustav Holst. Jeremy is also the musical director for One Day One Choir, a global annual movement for World Peace Day founded in 2014 that involves over a million singers from all around the world. Most recently Jeremy led the World Peace Day concert at the British Museum in London and he was the MD for June 2020 for the Global Song Circle, with guests the King's Singers.
ASHLEY www.ashleybeauchamp.com is a repetiteur, conductor, collaborative-pianist and coach based in London. He previously studied on the opera course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Alongside his work as a performer, Ashley is a passionate advocate of music education and outreach. He regularly runs workshops and projects all across the UK, introducing thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to opera every year. He has a longstanding relationship with the learning and participation departments of the Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne, running countless outreach projects and working extensively with their respective youth opera companies and the former Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus.
Ashley has also worked on projects with English National Opera, Grange Park Opera, Nevill Holt Opera, Garsington Opera, Blackheath Halls, The Brighton Dome, the British Red Cross, Together Productions and many other organisations, working to make opera accessible to all.

Matt has worked for over 25 years in the arts and cultural sector as an opera / theatre director, musician, cultural regeneration leader and senior arts manager.
He joined the Royal Opera House in 2007 to establish the organisations second home in Thurrock – a £60 million pound creative industries hub – now home to two new ROH facilities (ROH Production Workshop and Costume Centre), a national skills academy training centre for the creative industries, 43 artists’ studios and refurbished heritage community spaces.
In 2017 he joined Eastside Educational Trust as CEO / Artistic Director.
Matt lives in Westcliff on sea with his family.

Allen Jones spent most of his working life as a professionally qualified mechanical and marine engineer. He also has extensive experience in business and project management. Following retirement he ran his own yacht chartering and sail training company.
In the past, he has been a governor and chair of governors for a local school as well as chair of the management committee of a charity restoring an ancient monument. Currently he is a Trustee for a charity running his local village hall and also administers 140 acres of regulated common land as a not for profit organisation. Other experience includes being a director of a company limited by guarantee set up to buy a local pub as a community venture.
Having been active within the the ROHTCC for nine years he has played a full part in performing and also organised fund raising and social events for the chorus prior to it disbanding. The question Allen is most likely to ask is, "Why shouldn't there be an opera company in Thurrock?" “
